Baoruler | Measurement Method for Construction Soil Piles
Share
Steps for measuring construction soil piles using the Baoruler device:
Confirm the Scope: Conduct a preliminary survey of the soil pile area, determine the overall outline, and plan the measurement route.
Use the Volume Measurement Function: Employ a combination of measuring the outer contour of the soil pile and measuring auxiliary points (characteristic points of undulation).
Measurement Precautions:
① Use a measuring rod for assistance whenever possible.
② Mark the starting point. Walk around the maximum perimeter of the soil pile to measure its base surface, returning to the starting point.
③ Switch the line type to auxiliary points. Collect as many characteristic undulation points as possible along the surface of the soil pile.
④ After collecting sufficient auxiliary points, click the Complete and Save buttons. View the soil pile volume in the file.
⑤ You can switch between different perspectives to view the soil pile's area, surface area, volume, and contour lines.
